LinkedIn to HubSpot AI Assistant is a Chrome extension designed to help users analyze visible LinkedIn profile information, generate outreach drafts, and sync selected information to HubSpot.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

  1. Information We Collect

We may process the following information when you use the extension:

Visible LinkedIn profile information
This may include the person’s name, headline, job title, company name, location, visible profile text, and LinkedIn profile URL.

User settings
This may include your backend API URL, product or service description, target customer profile, outreach tone, and follow-up settings.

AI-generated content
This may include profile analysis, lead fit score, pain points, icebreakers, outreach drafts, and HubSpot note summaries.

HubSpot CRM data
When you choose to sync a contact, we may send selected profile information and AI-generated notes to your connected HubSpot account.

Technical information
We may process basic technical information needed to operate the extension, such as request status, error messages, and usage count.

  1. Information We Do Not Collect

The extension does not:

  • Automatically browse LinkedIn profiles

  • Automatically send LinkedIn messages

  • Collect LinkedIn cookies

  • Read LinkedIn localStorage or sessionStorage

  • Perform bulk scraping

  • Extract hidden LinkedIn data

  • Sell personal data

  • Use profile data for advertising

  1. How We Use Information

We use information only to provide the product’s core features:

  • Analyze visible LinkedIn profile information

  • Generate outreach drafts

  • Create or update HubSpot contacts

  • Save LinkedIn profile URLs to HubSpot

  • Create AI summary notes in HubSpot

  • Improve reliability, error handling, and user experience

  1. AI Processing

When you request profile analysis or message generation, selected visible profile information and user settings may be sent to our backend and processed by an AI provider.

The AI is used only to generate analysis, outreach drafts, and CRM notes requested by the user.

  1. HubSpot Processing

When you click a HubSpot-related action, selected information may be sent to HubSpot through the HubSpot API.

This may include:

  • Contact name

  • Company name

  • Job title

  • LinkedIn profile URL

  • AI-generated notes

  • Follow-up task information, if enabled

We do not control how HubSpot stores or processes data after it is sent to your HubSpot account. Please review HubSpot’s own privacy and data policies.

  1. Chrome Storage

The extension may use Chrome storage to save user settings such as backend API URL, outreach preferences, product description, and target customer profile.

We do not store OpenAI API keys or HubSpot private tokens inside the Chrome extension.

  1. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data.

We may share data only with service providers required to operate the extension, such as:

  • AI API providers for generating analysis and outreach drafts

  • HubSpot for CRM contact and note creation

  • Hosting providers for the backend API and website

  • Payment providers, if paid plans are offered

These services are used only to provide the product’s functionality.

  1. Limited Use Disclosure

Our use of information received from Chrome extension users is limited to providing and improving user-facing features of the extension.

We do not use user data for advertising.

We do not sell user data.

We do not transfer user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the extension’s core functionality, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

  1. Data Retention

We aim to retain only the information necessary to operate the extension.

Profile information processed for AI analysis may be processed temporarily to generate the requested output.

HubSpot data is stored in the user’s own HubSpot account according to the user’s HubSpot settings.

If we introduce account-based cloud storage in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain what is stored and for how long.

  1. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.

API keys and service tokens should be stored only in the backend environment and should not be placed inside the Chrome extension.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to reduce unnecessary data exposure.

  1. User Control

Users control when the extension analyzes a profile, generates a message, syncs a contact, or creates a HubSpot note.

Users may delete or modify any synced data directly inside their HubSpot account.

Users may uninstall the Chrome extension at any time from Chrome.

This product is intended for business use and is not directed to children.
